On September 11 at Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas, BoxFest XX will give four fighters the opportunity to take the next step in their professional careers by competing for two NABA Silver Titles.

From the developing 122-pound division, featuring Ayala and Moreno Arias, to the highly competitive 140-pound division, featuring Marquez and Sanchez, all four fighters will enter the ring with the same objective: to leave Hidalgo as a NABA Silver champion.

Kevin Ayala vs. Jesús Ariel Romero – NABA Silver 122 pounds

At 122 pounds, Kevin Ayala (13-1, 7 KOs) will face Jesus Ariel Romero (11-1-1) for the vacant NABA Silver Super Bantamweight title.

Ayala is a Texan promising young fighter, who combines technical ability and solid punching power. His seven knockouts reflect his ability to turn his offensive opportunities into fight-ending moments.

Across from him we find Romero faces the title opportunity with an impressive winning record and the experience needed to make this a competitive challenge.

Giovanni Marquez vs. Rowin Sanchez – NABA Silver 140 super lightweight title

In the 140-pound main event, Giovanni Marquez (15-1, 8 KOs) will face Venezuela’s Rowin Javier Sanchez (7-2-3, 5 KOs) for the vacant NABA Silver Super Lightweight Championship.

A former National Golden Gloves champion, Marquez combines speed, movement, an effective jab and precise combinations, while Sanchez brings a contrasting style as a strong, aggressive fighter with proven knockout power. Sanchez is coming off a third-round stoppage of previously unbeaten Jacob Marrero in April to capture the WBC FECARBOX Lightweight title.

The matchup promises an exciting clash of Marquez’s technical boxing against Sanchez’s pressure and power, with the vacant NABA Silver championship on the line.
