Tejada stops Molina to capture NABA Gold Super Lightweight title

Nicky “The Natural” Tejada claimed the vacant NABA Gold Super Lightweight Championship with a sixth-round technical knockout victory over Nick “St. Nick” Molina on Friday night at Billerica Brawl in Billerica, Massachusetts, promoted by Boston Boxing Promotions.

Tejada knocked down Molina in round 1 and remained in control throughout the contest before the referee stopped the fight at 2:02 of the sixth round, improving his professional record to 14-0-1 with 10 knockouts while capturing his first NABA championship.

With the victory, Tejada adds the NABA Gold Super Lightweight title to his résumé and takes another important step forward in his development as one of New England’s rising contenders.
